The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute is again inviting photographers from Alaska and beyond to enter their photographs in the Alaska Fishing Families Photo Contest, according to a release this week from the institute. Participants will have the opportunity to win cash prizes or the grand prize of two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines, which will be decided by ASMI\u2019s Facebook fans.<\/p>\n
ASMI will select the appropriate category for each photo and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes in each of the following categories:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Action Photo <\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Boat Photo <\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Family or Kid Photo <\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Fish Photo<\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Humor Photo<\/p>\n
\u2022 Best Scenic Photo<\/p>\n
The 1st place prize winner in each category will receive $100, the 2nd place prize winner in each category will receive $50, and the 3rd prize winner in each category will receive $25.<\/p>\n
ASMI seeks to enhance the value of the State of Alaska\u2019s fisheries by sharing the beauty and uniqueness of our great state. Submitted photos will help us promote the Alaska Seafood brand around the world. From fishing in Western Alaska to the mountains of Southeast, these images all help tell the story of Alaska seafood around the world. <\/p>\n
