Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian groups dressed in traditional regalia share their ancient songs and dances. Celebration pass required.<\/p>\n Northwest Coast Art Market, <\/strong>9 a.m.-6 p.m., Sealaska Plaza and Juneau Arts & Culture Center. Purchase authentic Native art and supplies from more than 40 artists. Free.<\/p>\n Northwest Coast Juried Art Show, <\/strong>9 a.m.-8 p.m., Walter Soboleff Building, Nathan Jackson Gallery. View selected pieces and winning work from Northwest Coast artists. $5 admission or Celebration pass.<\/p>\n Juried Youth Art Exhibit, <\/strong>9 a.m.-6 p.m., Juneau Arts & Culture Center. View more than 35 works from young Northwest Coast artists from around the region. Free.<\/p>\n \u201cWeavers Across the Water\u201d community robe class, <\/strong>9 a.m.-noon., Walter Soboleff Building, third floor. Starter kits will be available for Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian weavers contributing to this collaborative Chilkat\/ Ravenstail robe. $5 admission or Celebration pass.<\/p>\n Toddler Regalia Review,<\/strong> 12 p.m., Walter Soboleff Building, Shuk\u00e1 H\u00edt (clan house). Sealaska shareholders and shareholder descendants ages 2 to 4 years will model their traditional regalia. $5 admission or Celebration pass.<\/p>\n Language session: Sm\u2019algyax,<\/strong> 1-2 p.m., Father Andrew P. Kashevaroff State Library Archives and Museum Building.varoff State Library Archives and Museum Building. A time for language learners and speakers to gather and converse in Sm\u2019algyax (the language of the Tsimshian). All abilities welcome. Celebration pass required.<\/p>\n Documenting Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian jewelers, 1850-present,<\/strong> 2-3 p.m., Walter Soboleff Building, Living History Center, second floor. Curator and archivist Zachary R. Jones will share information about historic Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian jewelers. Celebration pass required.<\/p>\n Film showing: \u201cYuuyaraq\u201d and \u201cHaida Gwaii: On the Edge of the World,\u201d<\/strong> 4:30 p.m and 5 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Gold Town Theater. Lisle Hebert\u2019s docudrama based on Harold Napoleon\u2019s essay \u201cYuuyaraq\u201d (27 minutes) will be followed by the documentary \u201cHaida Gwaii: On the Edge of the World\u201d (1 hour, 14 minutes).<\/p>\n Comedian Cody Ferguson,<\/strong> 5-6 p.m., Walter Soboleff Building, Shuk\u00e1 H\u00edt (clan house).Tlingit- Yup\u2019ik performer Cody, whose father is from Wrangell, was raised in Chevak. He uses laughter to spread cultural healing. $5 admission or Celebration pass.<\/p>\n Seaweed Contest,<\/strong> 6-8 p.m., Centennial hall, Elders\u2019 Room. Taste samples and determine who has gathered and prepared the best black seaweed. Celebration pass required.<\/p>\n Jazz Piano Concert,<\/strong> 7-7:30 p.m., Walter Soboleff Building, Shuk\u00e1 H\u00edt (clan house). A performance by Tsimshian musician Chantil Dukart.
