The Learning Center at Gruening Park recently coordinated our first \u201cFamily Night\u201d of the fall. We had a great turnout with over 60 kids and 30 adults.<\/p>\n<p>The Halloween fun was made possible by generous donations from Breeze In who gave treats for a doughnut contest and prizes, Dr. Amy Dressel who provided face painting, Dr. Mark Riederer DDS and Alaska Dental Arts for toothbrushes and toothpaste, the Alaska T-shirt Company for gloves and the Juneau Police Department &#8211; DARE for reflectors.<\/p>\n<p>April from Juneau Public Health came and provided flu shots, and the Common Ground Church members donated a delicious meal and their time to make the event happen.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal was to provide a safe, fun event. This is only possible through the time, energy and generosity of the diverse members of the community.
