The Juneau Crime Line has chosen a recent break-in at downtown store Hickok’s Trading Post as its “Crime of the Week.”<\/p>\n
Just before 5 a.m. May 7, the Juneau Police Department responded to an alarm call at the business, 285 S. Franklin St.<\/p>\n
JPD officers arrived to find a door to the business forcibly removed and entry made into the business. The burglar entered the business and very quickly stole items<\/a> before exiting the store, making off with over $100,000 in jewelry, according to store co-owner Pat Hickok.<\/p>\n Anyone with information is encouraged to log on to the Juneau Crime Line Web site and report their tip. You may be eligible for a reward.<\/p>\n Crime Line is a non-profit organization composed of a cross-section of the community and is designed to aid police agencies in their investigations.
