The workshop&rsquo;s focus is lobbying state lawmakers at the Capitol, but the principles taught in the workshop apply to lobbying on a local level as well.<\/p>\n<p>Three hours will be spent discussing the legislative process, learning about how to track legislation and generally making one&rsquo;s voice be heard.<\/p>\n<p>The LWV was formed in 1920 in Chicago, and <a href=\"http:\/\/juneaulwv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Juneau chapter<\/a> was officially recognized in 1967.
