Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:10 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary at a residence in the 3900 block of Douglas Highway. Jewelry and a firearm were reported missing. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Disorderly conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:09 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested John Kobbe for disorderly conduct and violating the conditions of his release in the 9000 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail. \u2022 At 10:40 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested a 34-year-old man for criminal trespassing related to a domestic violence dispute in the Juneau area. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 12:21 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 20-year-old man for a domestic violence assault and criminal mischief in the Juneau area. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail.<\/p>\n Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:33 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report that a 35-year-old woman was in possession of a controlled substance in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Monday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls, one call to assist another agency, one call about excessive smoke that was caused by a chimney, one false call and one call to investigate an odor in a residence where personnel could not find anything amiss. CCFR also responded to a report of smoke in the cockpit of an aircraft that landed safely on Shell Simmons Drive. The issue was turned over to maintenance personnel.<\/p>\n Hindering prosecution<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:56 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of hindering prosecution in the 8900 block of Birch Lane. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Motor vehicle accident<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:27 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of damage to a parked vehicle in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:28 p.m. Monday, JPD cited a 57-year-old man for negligent driving after striking a 2008 Ford van head on with his 2003 Honda in the 3300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road, rendering both vehicles inoperable. The collision blocked the northbound lane for about 45 minutes. Both drivers declined medical treatment.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Monday, Alaska State Troopers received a report from a 56-year-old Anchorage woman that an iPad was taken from her vehicle while aboard the MV Kennicott ferry that traveled from Juneau to Whittier. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:56 a.m. Monday, a 44-year-old woman reported a theft in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:38 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a stolen firearm in the 3600 block of Amalga Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:05 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a theft from a business in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:25 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of theft in the 300 block of Whittier Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:36 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a stolen wallet containing personal items and credit cards in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.
