The boy\u2019s family has been notified of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>By 2:30 p.m. Friday, the boy was listed in stable condition in the critical care unit, BRH spokeswoman Katie Bausler told the Empire.<\/p>\n<p>Juneau Police Department officers were still on scene as of 2 p.m, investigating the crash. The 2003 silver Infinity SUV was still on the roadway, as were personal items of the boy&#8217;s: two sneakers and a hat.<\/p>\n<p>Police said in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juneaupolice.com\/PSA-template.php?UID=1811\" target=\"_blank\">an official statement<\/a> the Infinity was driven by a 65-year-old man. The statement did not say whether he was cited.<\/p>\n<p>From the way the SUV was oriented, it appears as if the driver was headed toward Egan Drive from Vanderbilt.
