{"id":27344,"date":"2016-07-06T08:05:13","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T15:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/man-arrested-in-shootout-between-vehicles-that-wounded-2\/"},"modified":"2016-07-06T08:05:13","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T15:05:13","slug":"man-arrested-in-shootout-between-vehicles-that-wounded-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/man-arrested-in-shootout-between-vehicles-that-wounded-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested in shootout between vehicles that wounded 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 Anchorage police arrested a man after a gunbattle between vehicles left two people wounded, marking the second shooting in the Mountain View neighborhood in two days.<\/p>\n<p>Groups inside a black car and a gold minivan opened fire at each other Sunday night, striking the car multiple times as well as parked vehicles nearby and a microwave inside a home, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe group belonging to the gold vehicle left the scene in that vehicle before police arrived,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after, two men came to a hospital with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening. One was struck in the leg, and the other in the pelvis. Police say neither man gave details about how they were shot or where they were when they were wounded.<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old man who was taken into custody faces several charges, including misconduct involving a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.<\/p>\n<p>It comes after police responded to reports of a shooting Saturday and found a woman dead in an apartment in the same neighborhood.
