I helped build the Pipeline Skate Park when I was in high school along with many other skaters and volunteers. I\u2019ve been helping volunteer there for the past few years to help keep the park clean, maintain ramps and building new ramps. This winter, a 17 year-old skateboarder, Cain Ramsey, helped to raise money for a remodel of one of the ramps. Enough money was raised to build two new big obstacles for skaters to use and enjoy. This was in huge part thanks to the 12 members of the Local Union 1281 who showed up and donated their time, tools and expertise. A big thanks to these guys who came out and helped. Thanks to Cobly Shiblar and Larry O\u2019Keefe from the Parks and Recreation Department for the help and tools over the last few years, and thanks to Jordan Nigro for allowing the meetings to take place at the Zach Gordon Teen Center.
