Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:23 p.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old man was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order and resisting arrest. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was not involved.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:14 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a domestic violence assault. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:22 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive, and a case was created for destruction.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:02 a.m. Monday, investigation continues into drug activity in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Wednesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to five EMS calls, a two-vehicle accident on Egan Drive where occupants were checked for injuries and declined further medical services, a carbon monoxide alarm on Columbia Boulevard, a false fire alarm on Salmon Creek Lane, a fire alarm on Seward Street for an extinguisher above a stove that was accidentally discharged, a false fire alarm on Willoughby Avenue that sounded due to burnt food and a call to Auke Lake Way that was cancelled en route.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Thursday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls, an agency assist call on Lemon Creek Road, a transport call to take a person from Juneau International Airport to Bartlett Regional Hospital, a false fire alarm on Channcie Court, and a report of shorted electrical equipment on Douglas Highway for a stove that was shorted out.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Friday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls and a transport call.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Saturday, CCFR responded to 11 EMS calls, a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Douglas Highway where one driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and she was taken to BRH, a call to confirm a death on Gold Street, a false fire alarm on Egan Drive caused by steam, and a call to Tongass Boulevard that was cancelled en route.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Sunday, CCFR responded to six EMS calls, a transport call, and a report of a person standing on a sidebar in the Mendenhall River. While en route to that call, CCFR learned the person was uninjured and was able to walk to the side of the river. The man was assessed to ensure there were no medical issues.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Teresa Kennedy, 41, was cited and released for stealing $132.22 in merchandise from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:47 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:54 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:22 p.m. Sunday, a 61-year-old man reported his vehicle was vandalized in the 3600 block of Amalga Street.<\/p>\n Welfare check<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:01 p.m. Sunday, investigation continues regarding a confidential matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This report contains information provided to the Empire from law enforcement agencies.
