Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 6:55 p.m. Saturday, a burglary and assault were reported in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Disturbance<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:54 p.m. Sunday, an investigation continued into a reported assault in the 700 block of Calhoun Avenue.<\/p>\n Domestic dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:02 p.m. Sunday, a 40-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol involved.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Saturday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls, a transport call and a fire alarm on Willoughby Avenue sounded by burnt food.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Sunday, CCFR responded to 10 EMS calls, including a 4:50 a.m. call for a single vehicle accident on Glacier Highway. Two males were extricated from the vehicle \u2014 one was given basic life support care, and the other advanced life support care. Both were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for further care. At 12:20 p.m., CCFR responded alongside JPD to the double murder at the Admiralty Condos in Douglas and confirmed two people were deceased. At 5:31 p.m., CCFR responded to a report of a CPR in progress on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. The patient was confirmed deceased. JPD said the man was an elderly man who had heart attack. Throughout the day, CCFR also responded to a public service call on Egan Drive, a medical alarm that was inadvertently sounded on North Street and a false fire alarm on Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n Found property<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:48 p.m. Sunday, a bag containing miscellaneous items was found in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway and turned in to police.<\/p>\n Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:25 p.m. Saturday, an investigation continued into the report of the theft of a 750 ml bottle of Monarch vodka valued at $10.79 from Alaska Liquor Cache in the 100 block of Franklin Street.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:45 a.m. Sunday, an investigation continued into the reported theft of a $1,600 bicycle and a pair of gloves and a hat valued at $250 in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:19 a.m. Saturday, an investigation continued into a disturbance between two juveniles in the 10600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 6:05 p.m. Sunday, a 53-year-old woman reported multiple items stolen from her home in the 8100 block of Threadneedle Street.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:33 a.m. Monday, an investigation continued into a reort of stolen gasoline from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:50 a.m. Monday, a 27-year-old woman reported her purse containing a Macbook Pro and headphones was stolen from her vehicle in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1 a.m. Monday, Benami L. Nickel, 34, was arrested for criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol involved.<\/p>\n Vehicle accident<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:49 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a single vehicle accident in the 33000 block of Glacier Highway. JPD and CCFR responded. Multiple passengers were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for medical care. An investigation continues into a possible drunken driving charge.<\/p>\n Vehicle in ditch<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:19 a.m. Monday, a Toyota 4 Runner was reported to have rolled into a ditch in the 10300 block of Glacier Highway.
