There should be accountability but in far too many instances the punishment is disproportionate to the crime. It would be more beneficial if we invested more in treatment, rehabilitation and education,\u201d said Wanda V. Greene, NAACP\u2019s Anchorage president, in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Alaska Senate is debating Senate Bill 91, a comprehensive sentencing and criminal justice reform bill.
