Anyone with information about a crime can report a tip anonymously to juneaucrimeline.com.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 8:11 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a burglary report in the 8600 block of Hayes Way.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 8:34 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a possible burglary of a residence in the 8300 block of Aspen Avenue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 On Thursday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to 18 EMS calls in the area throughout the day. At 2:03 p.m., firefighters were dispatched for smoke in the area of Rosedale Street; no sign of smoke or fire was found. At 11:39 p.m., they responded to a false call on Shattuck Way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motor vehicle collision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 11:56 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 8:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a wallet theft in the 8900 block of Sleepy Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report from a 43-year-old man on Godwin Road regarding the theft of a fuel tank from a boat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trespassing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 2:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Brandon Ross Stephens, 33, for first-degree criminal trespass in the 2300 block of Meadow Lane; he was held on a probation violation remand without bail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 2:56 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report from a 37-year-old man in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway that the soft top window of his Jeep had been cut and items stolen including a backpack, shoes and miscellaneous clothing items. A suspect was identified and was arrested on separate charges; investigation continues.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 4:18 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report from a 31-year-old man in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive that a tool bag with tools worth an estimated $200 had been stolen from his unlocked truck.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report from a 24-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Maplesden Way that items had been stolen from her vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of vehicle rifling in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vehicle theft<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a stolen 2000 Dodge in the 1100 block of Calhoun Avenue, which was later recovered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This report contains public information available to the Empire from law enforcement and public safety agencies.
