{"id":29469,"date":"2016-06-09T08:01:43","date_gmt":"2016-06-09T15:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/anchorage-police-seek-man-suspected-of-ramming-patrol-car\/"},"modified":"2016-06-09T08:01:43","modified_gmt":"2016-06-09T15:01:43","slug":"anchorage-police-seek-man-suspected-of-ramming-patrol-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/anchorage-police-seek-man-suspected-of-ramming-patrol-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Anchorage police seek man suspected of ramming patrol car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 Anchorage police are seeking a man suspected of ramming a patrol car and fleeing from officers.<\/p>\n<p>Police said 31-year-old Taming Ting Jr. had been sought on a warrant when he fled from police early Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>A pickup reportedly used by Ting was spotted just before 3:30 a.m. in west Anchorage.<\/p>\n<p>The pickup stopped for a stoplight on International Airport Road at Minnesota Drive and an officer blocked it with a patrol car.<\/p>\n<p>Police say Ting, behind the wheel of the pickup, rammed the patrol car and sped off at high speed. Police broke off a pursuit.<\/p>\n<p>The officer in the patrol car suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Police found the pickup abandoned 45 minutes later.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Ting is being sought on charges of assault, eluding and criminal mischief.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 Anchorage police are seeking a man suspected of ramming a patrol car and fleeing from officers.
