\u2022 At 1:03 a.m. Tuesday, 35-year-old Diana Austin was arrested in the 100 block of Franklin Street for assault after she punched a man in the ear. She was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:12 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to an assist call in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. Alcohol was involved. Items were taken into safekeeping.<\/p>\n
Burglary<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:31 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 2200 block of Jordan Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n
Death<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, 58-year-old Bruce Nelson was found deceased in his residence on Portage Boulevard. Next of kin have been notified. The death is not considered suspicious. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n
Fire and medical<\/p>\n
\u2022 On Monday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to six EMS calls and a transport call.<\/p>\n
Minor consuming<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, a juvenile boy and girl were cited for minor consuming alcohol in the 4300 block of Manor Avenue. They were released to their guardians.<\/p>\n
Motor vehicle crash<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:01 p.m. Monday, a silver Subaru struck a wooden post on Irwin Street, damaging wiring, and drove away from the scene through the cemetery. The vehicle could not be located.<\/p>\n
Shoplift<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 9:37 p.m. Monday, a boy was caught shoplifting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway and was released to a family member.<\/p>\n
Theft<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of stolen tools in the 1900 block of Fritz Cove Road. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, investigation continues into a report of stolen medication in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue.<\/p>\n
Vandalism<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 4:07 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a wooden deck located alongside an apartment building in the 400 block of Franklin Street. The deck was burned by an unknown source and caused between $500 and $1,000 in damages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
