ANCHORAGE (AP) — A 27-year-old Southeast Alaska man sought on a first-degree murder warrant was arrested Tuesday night after a standoff.

Albert Macasaet was arrested by an emergency reaction team of the Alaska State Troopers. Two children with him were not injured in the incident at a home in Klawock.

Macasaet is charged in the death of 27-year-old Judylee Guthrie, who was found dead July 31 in a wooded area near the village.
