David Campbell said in a press release. Riverbend Elementary School was notified and the school initiated its \u201cstay-put\u201d procedure.<\/p>\n<p>School district spokeswoman Kristin Bartlett has said in the past that schools can consider a range of options in these cases. The options include a \u201cstay put,\u201d where outside doors are locked but the school keeps operating, and a lockdown, where normal operations cease and students are locked inside classrooms or evacuated.<\/p>\n<p>JPD officers arrived at the Riverbend Apartments, established a secure perimeter, and talked to the woman by phone, Campbell said in the release.
