The Alaska Republican Party has filed an official complaint against Joe Miller alleging \u201cnumerous serious violations of the Federal Election Commission act and regulations.\u201d<\/p>\n
The complaint, dated Monday, was released by the Republican Party via email in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
According to the five-letter complaint sent to the FEC\u2019s Office of General Counsel, Miller used a corporation named Restoring Liberty LLC to accept donations and spread campaign literature without proper disclosure and reporting.<\/p>\n
The complaint also alleges that some of Miller\u2019s campaign literature didn\u2019t contain proper disclosures and that Citizens for Joe Miller \u2014 his campaign committee \u2014 fabricated donations, including a $4,500 in-kind donation from the Alaska Republican Party.<\/p>\n
Miller renounced his Republican Party membership in order to run for U.S. Senate as a member of the Libertarian Party. Miller is running against \u2014 among others \u2014 incumbent Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoe Miller is a licensed attorney and \u2026 must be assumed to be familiar with the requirements of law,\u201d the complaint states.<\/p>\n
