The driver reporting possibly striking a pedestrian near the highway truck scales.<\/p>\n<p>Police found a critically injured woman, 62-year-old Gwen Truax, along the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>She was transported to a hospital, where she died.<\/p>\n<p>No citations have been issued and police are continuing to investigate the death.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 Anchorage police are investigating the death of a pedestrian struck on the Seward Highway just south of Potter Marsh.
