National internet grocery firm Instacart has hired an Alaska lobbyist, according to filings released June 20<\/a> by the Alaska Public Offices Commission.<\/p>\n Instacart, which promises to home-deliver groceries from Costco and other retailers, launched its Alaska business May 31 in Anchorage<\/a>. It has not yet expanded outside the city.<\/p>\n According to corporate filings, Instacart operates in Alaska under the name Maplebear Alaska LLC<\/a> and is a registered Delaware corporation.<\/p>\n Instacart’s lobbyist is Patrick Carter of Anchorage.
