Downtown businesses will host kid-friendly activities Saturday for the Downtown Business Association’s Kid’s Day.<\/p>\n
Stores are putting together gift options friendly to young people’s budgets and Santa will be available in his Senate Building workshop for professional photos from 12-5 p.m. on the second floor. Photos are $5 for families and will be filed digitally.<\/p>\n
Juneau Tours and Whale Watch will take families for a festive ride on Santa’s trolley at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. from the Sealaska parking lot.<\/p>\n

Juneau’s Imagination Station will have an ornament making station set up and free gift wrapping.<\/p>\n
The JACC will have free gift wrapping.<\/p>\n
Heritage Coffee will sell all kids 8oz hot chocolates 50 percent off at all downtown locations.<\/p>\n
Shoefly will have two “make a fashion gift” stations, for $5-10 (depending on materials). kids can make a gift and they’ll have a free gift card making station.<\/p>\n
Annie Kaill’s Gallery will have a small gift table (with affordable gifts and ornaments).<\/p>\n
Rainy Retreat Books will have selected kids used books 50 percent off. Most prices will be from $0.50 to $2.<\/p>\n
Juneau Drug will have a coloring table and a coloring contest. They’ll also have cookies and hot chocolate.<\/p>\n
Sealaska Heritage Institute Gallery is honoring kids with 15 percent off storewide.<\/p>\n
Downtown Dames will have a station where kids can make their own holiday cards.<\/p>\n
Trove will hold kids-only raffle drawings and a candy buffet. Kids will receive a 20 percent discount. Special guest artists will be the girls from M.R.S. Jewelry<\/p>\n
