He was 31 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Nickolas called Juneau his home for the last seven years, and was a longtime roommate of Kip Martin at the Channel View Apartments. In recent years, he was a well-known and liked local entrepreneur (street vendor). He was often seen riding his electric skateboard through town with his good friend Jackie.<\/p>\n<p>Nickolas attended Shorewood High School in Shoreline, Washington, where he grew up.<\/p>\n<p>Nickolas is survived by his daughter, Amirah Jenkins; brother, Reuben Beers; mother, Janet Gordon-Thatcher and father, Donald Beers.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at Beck&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Edmonds, Washington.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nickolas Joseph Beers died Oct. 13, 2017.
