ANCHORAGE \u2014 <\/strong>The remains of two more U.S. service members who died in a plane crash outside Anchorage in 1952 have been identified.<\/p>\n The Alaska Dispatch News reportED the Air Force has identified the men as Air Force Capt. Walter Perrin Tribble and Airman 2nd Class Bernis F. White.<\/p>\n The two men died alongside the other 50 people on board the C-124 Globemaster after it crashed into Mount Gannett near Colony Glacier.<\/p>\n The plane and the remains were discovered in 2012 by a passing helicopter pilot. Every summer since, armed forces recovery teams have returned to the glacier in search of more remains and plane parts buried beneath the ice.<\/p>\n In addition to the remains of Tribble and White, remains from 17 of the 52 victims have been recovered and identified.<\/p>\n
