FAIRBANKS \u2014 Two passengers in a car were injured Wednesday night on the road into Denali National Park and Preserve. One passenger was in critical condition.<\/p>\n
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported they were in a car that crashed near Savage River about 15 miles into the park.<\/p>\n
The injured passengers were flown from the park airstrip to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.<\/p>\n
The National Park Service said the driver of the car, an 18-year-old woman, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
A third passenger refused medical treatment.<\/p>\n
All four in the car are seasonal employees of lodges outside the park.<\/p>\n
The car came to rest below the park road near the river. It was scheduled to be removed Thursday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
