It will remain closed until Sunday, when it resumes regular operations.<\/p>\n<p>The closure is due to the 2016 Alaska State High School Swimming and Diving Championship, which will run from Thursday through Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>During this time, the Augustus Brown Pool downtown will maintain regular hours, and it will offer \u201ca few additional swim sessions during DPAC\u2019s closure,\u201d according to a city press release.<\/p>\n<p>[<a href=\"http:\/\/juneauempire.com\/sports\/2016-11-01\/juneau-qualifies-27-state-region-v-swim-meet\" target=\"_blank\">Juneau qualifies 27 for state at Region V swim meet<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>For an updated pool schedule, check out the aquatics calendar on the city\u2019s Parks and Recreation Department\u2019s website: <a href=\"http:\/\/juneau.org\/parkrec\/Aquatics_Calendar.php\/\" target=\"_blank\">juneau.org\/parkrec\/Aquatics_Calendar.php\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The state championship swimming and diving meet is open to the public. Tickets for adults cost $10. Tickets for students cost $5.
