{"id":34051,"date":"2015-10-07T08:00:07","date_gmt":"2015-10-07T15:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/jahc-debuts-art-hop-passport\/"},"modified":"2015-10-07T08:00:07","modified_gmt":"2015-10-07T15:00:07","slug":"jahc-debuts-art-hop-passport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/life\/jahc-debuts-art-hop-passport\/","title":{"rendered":"JAHC debuts Art Hop Passport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Juneau Arts &amp; Humanities Council has announced the first year of its Art Hop Passport, a booklet designed to encourage the public to attend art and performance events throughout the 2015-2016 season.<\/p>\n<p>The booklet lists events around the city organized by various arts groups, and provides a place for attendees to these events to have their passports \u201cstamped\u201d to show their participation.<\/p>\n<p>Those who participate and successfully attend at least one event per page in the Passport will then have the opportunity to submit their Passport (equivalent to a raffle ticket) to win cash prizes of up to $500 at the raffle drawing in June at the first Food Truck Friday event.<\/p>\n<p>Participating organizations and businesses featured in the Passport include; Juneau Arts &amp; Humanities Council, Perseverance Theatre, Juneau Lyric Opera, Gold Town Theatre, Gold Town Theatre: Science on Screen Series, Suite 907, Juneau Jazz &amp; Classics, Juneau Symphony Orchestra, Woosh Kinaadeiy\u00ed, Juneau Douglas High School, Thunder Mountain High School, Juneau Dance Theatre, Alaska Youth Choir, The Jump Society, North Wind Architects: Alaska Design Forum, Ballroom Dance at the JACC, Kindred Post, Sealaska Heritage Institute, Juneau Community Bands, and Theater at Latitude 58.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit www.jahc.org.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Juneau Arts &amp; Humanities Council has announced the first year of its Art Hop Passport, a booklet designed to encourage the public to attend art and performance events throughout the 2015-2016 season.
