Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 11:34 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department arrested Eric Aguiar, 19, in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway for assault. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Read more on today’s A1.<\/p>\n

Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

• At 1:31 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 3400 block of Meander Way to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Disorderly conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Steven Lythgoe, 44, in the 5500 block of Glacier Highway for disorderly conduct. Alcohol was a factor. Lythgoe was taken to LCCC and released on his own recognizance.<\/p>\n

Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 3:25 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 27-year-old man for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail.<\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a shoplift of Patron tequila from a liquor store. The subject had been drinking. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Shots fired<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 1:57 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 3400 block of Foster Avenue to investigate the discharge of a firearm in an apartment. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n

• At 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the theft of an iPhone. The phone was recovered and returned to the owner, who declined to pursue charges.<\/p>\n

Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n
