Trammel\u2019s boat has not been found.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers said the body is being sent for an autopsy by the state medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Trammel left Wrangell on Nov. 5 aboard his 38-foot boat, the Thalasa, and was due to return after five days.<\/p>\n<p>The Coast Guard cutter Anacapa, a Sitka helicopter crew and Wrangell search and rescue personnel were involved in the search for the missing boater.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 Alaska State Troopers said a 53-year-old Wrangell man who was overdue from a boating trip has been found dead about 12 miles from the southeast community.
