{"id":34414,"date":"2016-01-15T21:38:06","date_gmt":"2016-01-16T05:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/juneau-man-found-dead\/"},"modified":"2016-01-15T21:38:06","modified_gmt":"2016-01-16T05:38:06","slug":"juneau-man-found-dead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/juneau-man-found-dead\/","title":{"rendered":"Juneau man found dead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An employee of Juneau\u2019s SuperBear grocery store was unexpectedly found dead Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Juneau Police Department, 39-year-old Robert Loren Lakey III was found dead by a 39-year-old woman on Coogan Drive about 4:35 p.m. Jan. 10.<\/p>\n<p>Gerold Wade, Lakey\u2019s supervisor at SuperBear, said the death was a shock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d seen him on Saturday, he seemed just fine, and I told him I\u2019d see him on Monday,\u201d Wade said. \u201cMy assistant and I are still in shock because he seemed perfectly healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>JPD Lt. David Campbell said police investigators found no signs of foul play at the scene, and Lakey\u2019s remains were sent to Anchorage for an autopsy, which found \u201cno trauma that would cause death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine if the death is related to drugs or alcohol.
