Fifty-six runners took part in the annual Mount Roberts Tram Run Saturday morning, racing from the tram\u2019s lower parking lot up to Father Brown\u2019s Cross, a vertical gain of 1,800 feet.<\/p>\n
Joshua Musson won the race and also set a new course record of 31:38, breaking Geoff Roes\u2019 record of 32:54 set in 2008. Matt Callahan took second place, and John Bursell third.<\/p>\n
Amie Spieth was the first woman to touch the cross, with a time of 43:22. She was 12th overall.<\/p>\n
Race organizers thanked Jim Duncan and the Mount Roberts Tram for supporting the Juneau Trail and Road Runners event.<\/p>\n
