The world of social media is constantly changing and can be daunting to keep up with, but a panel of experts is hoping to help business owners and others become more familiar with the various social media platforms.

The Juneau Chamber of Commerce is moderating a panel discussion Thursday morning at KTOO’s 360 North studio, focused on social media marketing strategy, current trends, copyright laws, finding an audience and more. The event begins at 8 a.m. so attendees can mingle and network. The discussion runs from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

Panelists include: Jenny Fremlin, PhD and instructor at Alaska Litho; Lael Harrison, an attorney at Faulkner Banfield PC; Michelle O’Brien, marketing manager at the Juneau Radio Center; and David Purdy, digital director at KTOO.

Tickets are still available, and can be purchased at www.juneauchamber.com. Tickets are $35 for Chamber of Commerce members and $45 for all others. There will be a question-and-answer segment, and appetizers and refreshments will be available.
