Alaska State Troopers were notified Thursday of the theft of more than $3,000 worth of art prints from the Alaska Marine Highway System office in Ketchikan, the Ketchikan Daily News reported.<\/p>\n
About 30 AMHS 25th anniversary prints signed by artist Bill C. Ray were allegedly stolen. An investigation by troopers, as noted in a Sunday dispatch, says the prints were taken sometime between July and October. <\/p>\n
Ray, who was born in Juneau in 1951 and now lives in Berlin, Germany, according to his website, created the mural on Juneau\u2019s municipal building, titled \u201cRaven Discovering Mankind in a Clam Shell.\u201d <\/p>\n
