The Juneau Audubon Society organized the free event, which is open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>As chronicled in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/beavers-do-good-work\/\" target=\"_blank\">a recent Empire column<\/a> from Mary Willson, there&rsquo;s sometimes a contentious relationship between humans and beavers because of beavers building dams and felling trees.
