First Bank, Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and Cynthia Gibson, CFP®, Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, Inc. are hosting a joint presentation at 1 p.m. Friday at the Mendenhall Valley Public Library. The event is free and is expected to last until 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Susan Briles, a patient health benefits specialist with the Outreach and Enrollment team at SEARHC, will talk about Medicare options and avoiding the penalties that can sneak up on people. Gibson will provide tips about how to make the most of the Social Security benefits available to you. Both will be available for questions following their presentations.<\/p>\n
