They&rsquo;ll specifically be pulling descriptions from the &ldquo;short event description&rdquo; column of the form, and may have to edit wording to fit into the flier format depending on how many submissions are received. The full\/longer descriptions will be used for an email and shared with the Juneau Empire.<\/p>\n<p>If the Nov. 21 deadline is missed, the event will not be included in the Gallery Walk flier.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions can be made online at: <a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/shrA4pz387usWWHf2\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/airtable.com\/shrA4pz387usWWHf2<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Susan Orlean will keynote annual North Words <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SKAGWAY<\/strong> &mdash; Susan Orlean and six Alaska Northwest authors will answer questions at the 10th annual North Words Writers Symposium, May 29-June 1, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Orlean is the author of &ldquo;The Orchid Thief,&rdquo; which was made into the film &ldquo;Adaptation,&rdquo; starring Meryl Streep as her.
