Paramedics pronounced him dead less than one hour later.<\/p>\n<p>Capital City Fire\/Rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures on Juneau resident Joseph McDonagh Burke for approximately 30 minutes before declaring he could not be revived at 6:54 p.m., according to a news release by the Juneau Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>JPD spokesman Lt. David Campbell told the Empire by phone Friday that officers were able to quickly identify Burke because he had a wallet in his pocket. Officers also did not see any obvious signs of trauma on his body.
