Anyone with information about a crime can report a tip anonymously to juneaucrimeline.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested Carly Rae Hulse, 33, in the 200 block of Franklin Street for assault. Alcohol was a factor. Hulse was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 7:41 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 24-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The woman was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drunken driving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 12:57 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Abigail Suellentrop, 22, in the 3200 block of Egan Drive for driving while intoxicated. She was taken to LCCC and the car she was driving was impounded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motor vehicle crash<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash in the 1600 block of Thane Road. The driver, a 64-year-old Juneau man, was taken to the hospital. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/car-crashes-on-thane-road-after-driver-falls-asleep\/\" target=\"_blank\">Read Wednesday&rsquo;s A4<\/a> page for more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Search and rescue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, Alaska State Troopers were notified of an overdue hiker on Inian Island near Elfin Cove. AST and Coast guard responders searched for the missing hiker, identified as 20-year-old California resident Darcie Nicholson. Searchers found Nicholson at about 12:02 a.m. Wednesday, and flew Nicholson to Sitka where she was treated for mild hypothermia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 12:02 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 31-year-old man who reported the theft of heating fuel worth an estimated $600.<\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 3 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 34-year-old man who reported the theft of a light blue bicycle stolen from the front of a building. The bike was worth an estimated $200.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8600 block of Teal Street to investigate the report of a 48-year-old man who reported vandalism to his parked 1997 Ford pickup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 9400 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 67-year-old woman who reported her vehicle was entered and rifled through.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This report contains public information available to the Empire from law enforcement and public safety agencies.
