Here’s a look at all three home basketball series this weekend at Juneau-Douglas and Thunder Mountain high schools.<\/p>\n

Juneau-Douglas boys (7-6) vs. Thunder Mountain boys (7-7), Friday and Saturday 8 p.m., JDHS gym<\/strong><\/p>\n

JDHS and TMHS each walked away with three wins in six head-to-head matches last season. Their last matchup of the season was a dramatic one<\/a>, with JDHS scoring the go-ahead points with 0.7 second left in regulation to eliminate the Falcons from the Region V Basketball Tournament.<\/p>\n

JDHS finished fourth the South O’Brady’s Invitational last week in Anchorage. TMHS went 1-3 in four road contests in Anchorage, Wasilla and Utqiagvik.<\/p>\n

JDHS will have four more conference games after this weekend. TMHS will have six more conference games after this weekend.<\/p>\n

Juneau-Douglas girls (8-2) vs. Sitka, Friday and Saturday, 6:15 p.m., JDHS gym<\/strong><\/p>\n

JDHS sports a Southeast Conference-leading 2-0 record after sweeping Ketchikan last weekend. JDHS has strung together four wins in a row. Their only two losses of the season have come against Anchorage’s East and Bartlett.<\/p>\n

These two teams squared off in the Princess Cruises Capital City Classic on Dec. 27. The Crimson Bears won handily 52-25.<\/p>\n
