{"id":42582,"date":"2019-02-03T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-02-03T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/life\/uas-to-waive-application-fee-for-event\/"},"modified":"2019-02-03T03:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-02-03T12:00:00","slug":"uas-to-waive-application-fee-for-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/life\/uas-to-waive-application-fee-for-event\/","title":{"rendered":"UAS to waive application fee for event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For one night, the University of Alaska Southeast is waiving an application fee.<\/p>\n<p>UAS is hosting &ldquo;Financial Aid &#038; Scholarship Night&rdquo; on Wednesday, Feb. 6, to assist attendees in completing the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), even if they are not planning on attending UAS.<\/p>\n<p>Those who plan on attending a University of Alaska school can get assistance applying for admissions and filling out the UA scholarship application.
