Everybody is in stable condition after a five-car collision early Wednesday morning, police say.<\/p>\n
At about 7:36 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Mendenhall Loop Road and Goat Hill Road, a green Honda CRV was driving toward the glacier when the driver lost control on the icy road and drifted into the oncoming lane, according to a Juneau Police Department press <\/a>release<\/a>. The CRV hit a white Ford pickup in the opposite lane.<\/p>\n A chain reaction followed. A black Toyota 4Runner was trying to slow down as it approached the crash, but a silver Toyota RAV hit it from behind, and then a black Dodge RAM hit the RAV from behind, according to the release. The driver and passenger of the CRV and the driver of the 4Runner suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, and Capital City Fire\/Rescue took them to Bartlett Regional Hospital, police say.<\/p>\n All of the people involved in the crash are believed to be in stable condition, the JPD release states.<\/p>\n
