{"id":45587,"date":"2019-03-29T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-03-29T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/anchorage-man-acquitted-in-disappearance-of-juneau-woman\/"},"modified":"2019-03-30T13:01:38","modified_gmt":"2019-03-30T21:01:38","slug":"anchorage-man-acquitted-in-disappearance-of-juneau-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/anchorage-man-acquitted-in-disappearance-of-juneau-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"Anchorage man acquitted in disappearance of Juneau woman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANCHORAGE<\/strong> &mdash; An Anchorage man who spent three years in jail awaiting trial on murder charges has been acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>The Anchorage Daily News reported a jury Thursday acquitted 37-year-old Thomas Skeek,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/murder-charges-in-case-of-missing-juneau-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\"> who had been charged with first- and second-degree murder<\/a> and evidence tampering in the disappearance of his wife, 32-year-old Linda Skeek, formerly of Juneau.<\/p>\n<p>Linda Skeek&rsquo;s family believes she is dead.
