The article has been updated to reflect the change.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Eldred Rock Lighthouse Preservation Association hosted the Run 4 the Rock on Saturday on Pioneer Road and North Douglas Highway. Bryan Hitchcock won the 10-kilometer race in 39 minutes, 40 seconds. Kendri Cesar was the first across the finish line for the women, and placed 13th overall.<\/p>\n<p>Eli Crupi and Skylar Tuckwood tied for first place in the 5K, each finishing in 22:00.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We raised just over $900 this race, and $1,190 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/sports\/running-for-historic-lighthouses-repair\/\" target=\"_blank\">with the one in January<\/a>: so just over $2000 as a race series,&rdquo; Sue York, executive director of the ERLPA, said via email. &ldquo;These funds will go directly to renovations, equipment, and transportation costs. Our mission is to Restore, Preserve, Share.
