{"id":47146,"date":"2019-04-28T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-28T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/life\/free-parenting-classes-available\/"},"modified":"2019-04-28T03:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-28T11:00:00","slug":"free-parenting-classes-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/life\/free-parenting-classes-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Free parenting classes available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parenting classes are available free of charge to mothers, fathers and extended family caregivers in Juneau.<\/p>\n<p>Circles of Security, a six-week series to nurture and support a happy and safe family life, begins Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC) office, 3200 Hospital Dr., Suite 204. Fatherhood is Sacred begins Thursday, May 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the Andrew Hope Building, second floor. Dinner and child care support is available for each class.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions will help equip parents and primary caregivers with skills and strategies to connect with children in healthy and nurturing ways. A list of upcoming classes is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rockjuneau.org\/calendar?view=calendar&#038;month=04-2019\" target=\"_blank\">ROCK Juneau.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>R.O.C.K.
