The program will include the glorious finale from Schubert\u2019s \u201cTrout\u201d quintet and selections by Beethoven, Poulenc, Previn, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Performances are at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2 at Northern Light United Church. A reception will follow each performance.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free but donations are welcome and go to JAMM, a non-profit music program serving 600 students served in three elementary schools within the Juneau School District.<\/p>\n<p>The performers will include Mark Calvert, tenor; Sophia Butler, violin; Andrew Israelsen, double bass; Meghan Johnson, cello; Kate Kroko, viola; Sally Schlichting, flute; Douglas Smith, piano and Luke Weld, piano.<\/p>\n<p>The Con Brio Chamber Series serves to provide instrumentalists and singers an opportunity to create, perform and share their love of chamber music. Upcoming concerts include: \u201cFlutatious and Friends\u201d on Nov. 19; \u201cChamber Music for Lower Brass\u201d on Jan. 21 and 22; and \u201cMusic for Harp, Flute and Strings\u201d on April 14 and 15.<\/p>\n<p>All concerts are free with donations accepted.
