The Juneau Post 25 and Juneau Junior All-Stars’ respective postseasons will be on the line in the coming days at state and regional tournament action.<\/p>\n
Juneau Post 25, the capital city’s American Legion baseball team, begins the American Legion Alaska State Tournament Friday.<\/p>\n
Juneau (15-3), who nabbed the second seed after finishing with the second-best league record, plays No. 7 West Post 1 (11-7) at 3:15 p.m at Mulcahy Stadium in Anchorage.<\/p>\n
The other teams that made the cut for the state tournament include: No. 1 Wasilla (16-2), No. 3 Chugiak (14-4), No. 4 Kenai (13-5), No. 5 South (13-5), No. 6 Palmer (12-6) and No. 8 Dimond (9-9). The Legion state tournament will be livestreamed at meridix.com\/channel\/?liveid=thealliance#\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Juneau Junior All-Stars were the only Gastineau Channel Little League team to make it out of the district and state <\/a>tournaments<\/a>. They now play in the Junior Baseball West Regional Tournament in San Jose, California.
