The American Red Cross of Alaska held its first Flirting with Disaster Fundraiser on Feb. 26 at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center. We would like to say a sincere thank you to those who helped make it happen.<\/p>\n

A very special thank you needs to go out to a Lori Heagy and Inez Patterson of Glacier Valley Elementary School and the Juneau Alaska Music Matters program for organizing the kids in the program so that they could raise money for their Sitka Music Camp. We are deeply thankful to them for arranging the evening\u2019s entertainment and booking Ron Maas Big Band and the Mendenhall Quartet. Thank you Ron Maas Big Band and Mendenhall Quartet, you were beyond wonderful!! We are truly lucky to have benefited from your talent!<\/p>\n
Thank you to JACC for providing such great service and to Abby\u2019s Kitchen for fabulous food! Thank you to Alaska Glacier Seafoods for providing the Pacific Cod and Salmon that we enjoyed, it was fantastic! We also need to thank Suite 907, Alaskan Brewing Company and B-Cheesy Photo Booth, all of whom were critical to our event.<\/p>\n
