A 39-year-old man is in custody for allegedly stabbing another man Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Lucas Schneider, of Juneau, allegedly stabbed a 44-year-old man multiple times Thursday evening, causing injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a Juneau Police Department press <\/a>release<\/a>. Schneider was later located and arrested for second-degree assault (a class B felony) and fourth-degree assault (a class A misdemeanor).<\/p>\n

At 6:50 p.m., the 44-year-old Juneau resident called JPD reporting that Schneider was refusing to leave his residence and had also struck him physically. Shortly after that call, a woman called saying that Schneider had stabbed the initial caller.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to the scene, in the 300 block of Fourth Street downtown. Schneider had left the residence and was nowhere to be seen. The 44-year-old was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital with multiple stab wounds, none of which were considered life-threatening. Following treatment, the man was released from the hospital.<\/p>\n

A few hours later, at 1:23 a.m. Friday, JPD officers found Schneider in the downtown area and arrested him. Schneider was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
