But it was only fish blood, according to authorities.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;The dog is fine, the dog is home,&rdquo; Karen Wood, director of animal control for the Juneau Animal Rescue, told the Empire in an interview Monday. &ldquo;The dog had a fish in its mouth and rolled in fish.&rdquo;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Concerned citizens who found the dog, which had escaped from its house, reported it to authorities before realizing it was fish blood, and also posted online.
