Krag Campbell in a press release Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Young kicked in an apartment door in Coho Park around 5:36 p.m.Wednesday while the three occupants attempted to keep it shut, said witnesses. Young was able to fire a flare gun into the space in the door, striking the hand of a 61-year-old man who was attempting to keep the door shut, Campbell said in the press release. Lockett | Juneau Empire)<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The 61-year-old was able to wrest the rifle from Young&rsquo;s grasp, Campbell said, before he threatened the occupants further and than ran into the woods. Young later called the police to turn himself in from an apartment off of Cinema Drive, and was taken into custody without incident, according to Campbell. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Facility.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpermalink.php%3Fstory_fbid%3D2365763920342570%26id%3D1487310934854544&#038;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"318\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The man struck with the flare sustained only minor injuries, and no one else was injured. The firearm, a bolt-action rifle, was recovered at the scene, along with a spent shell from the rifle and two spent flare round casings, Campbell said. The incident appears to be related to domestic violence, Campbell said, and Young was known to the occupants of the apartment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><hr \/><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><b>\u2022 Contact reporter Michael S.
