Thank you to the community for participating in the Douglas Ghost Walk<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

The Douglas Ghost Walk was started by the Douglas Lion’s Club in the 1950s. Children had a safe and warm environment to play games, wear costumes and get Halloween treats inside, out of the darkness, cold and wet weather and the Taku winds.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

This year we passed out close to 300 Halloween bags. The JDHS hockey team ran the games, set-up the games and cleaned up after the event. Douglas volunteer firefighters donated candy, Dr. Gilbert, DDS donated 300 toothbrushes and toothpaste, Office Plus donated Play-Doh to go into the Halloween bags. The Douglas 4th of July Committee has been organizing this event for years and donated time and non-candy prizes to be handed out at the game stations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

Thank you to all the families and children who participated in the Douglas Ghost Walk this year. Grandparents who came to the event as children were bringing their grandchildren to the Douglas Ghost walk this year.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t
